About Your Wallet
Your Prestmit wallet is where all your transactions are settled and debited. You can see wallet balance on the API Console or via API.
Every partner has two wallet types:
- Naira Wallet (₦)
- Cedis Wallet (₵)
You can receive payments, hold balances, and withdraw directly from here.
🟢 What Adds Money to Your Wallet
| Source | Description |
|---|---|
| Completed Gift Card Sale | When you sell a gift card successfully, the payout is credited to your wallet. |
| Manual Top-up | You can fund your wallet through bank transfer using the virtual bank account. on your profile. |
| Commissions | All commissions on partner transactions are automatically added to your wallet. |
| Refunds | If a withdrawal or transaction fails after being charged, the amount is reversed to your wallet. |
🔴 What Deducts Money from Your Wallet
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Withdrawals | When you initiate a payout to a bank account, funds are deducted from your wallet balance. |
| Purchases | Buying gift cards or other products through the API deducts the equivalent amount from your wallet. |
📊 Wallet Behavior
- Each currency wallet operates independently; Naira and Cedis balances don’t mix.
- You can only withdraw or buy a gift card using a wallet with sufficient balance.
- Real-time balance updates are available through the
GET /wallet/fiat/detailsendpoint. You can also check on the API Console.
